A new setting has been added in MillBox Preferences under General > Blanks: Lock read write ".blk" files after selection to prevent them from being used by other sessions. With this setting toggled on, any time a blank is opened by MillBox, it will be locked and unable to be opened by another installation. This can prevent the same blank from being imported into multiple MillBox nesting stations simultaneously. The blank will be locked until it is released or until MillBox change project or is closed.

In MillBox it's simple to move / rotate objects, but after a toolpath calculation it's important to don't move any object, now if the user try to move / rotate an object or a pin MillBox will inform that a toolpath has been calculated and requests a confirm to continue. If confirmed MillBox will not ask anymore until another toolpath will be calculated.

If on the equipment the value "# Enable neutral TS: 1" has been defined on import dialog a new object type "Neutral object" will be shown. This object type allows the import of the .stl file (not other formats) without any analysis, later the user will proceed manually with detection of curves / caps and then an object type from the list must be selected to proceed with calculation. This procedure allow the user to skip the detection time for anaylisis of complex / mixed objects and detect manually only parts that must be considered.

There is a new folder called "Skins" in the ui folder, it contains graphic layouts that can be applied to different assets, allowing a different layout that can be useful for example on integration with CAD programs. Skins can be compatible with all assets or only with some assets, depending from the config.ini configuration. The new Skin called "CAD integration 1" is included in the update.

On multishaded blanks it's possible to assign the Z top position in percent considering the object color. The object color must be defined in the .constructionInfo file. With this blanks the object orientation will be the same as the original file and not optimized in Z to mantain correct color definition on the whole surface.

On configuration it's possible to set the automatic deletion or move of used blanks considering the usage space in percentual. MillBox will verify also how the blank is used, for example if it is set 75% but there is an area where a crown can be placed MillBox will not delete/move the blank. Deleted blanks will be moved on the recycle bin so the user can check them before empting it. The operation will be made in background after the first MillBox is started.

In some cases objects imported has cavity axis or secondary axis not compatible with the machine, those objects are shown in red and a warning is shown with mouse over and before start calculation. Now MillBox will adapt those axis to machine limits, informing the user to check the result because undercuts can be visually identified. If the user manually change the orientation of the object MillBox will verify automatically if the adapted axis orientation can be refined. Clicking on the warning icon MillBox will display the difference from original axis and the adapted axis.

The following changes have been applied to the strategy filtering / display of options during calculation:

1. If the strategy is updated and contains a new option / operation that was not available the past, this option will be hidden and un-selected by default. This is to avoid warnings that may occur due to missing tools / parameters when the strategy has been updated, but the choices have not been checked / re-configured.

2. New parameters will be highlighted in color gray under the "show" and "set" cells, this to help quickly identify which operations are new with the update and will need to be set / configured. Furthermore a new section has been added that will show all of the new parameters for the current object that is selected.

3. If a new parameter is set by the user the "gray" color / shading will disappear.

4. If the strategy choices would result in an error, this may be due to a new operation that has been added, but may have a required step / choice to make before it can be used.

For Example: If 3 radial buttons are available but none are selected (even though a choice is required), a warning dialog will be displayed.

selecting the warning symbol will produce a window that displays which operations / choices must be set.

To facilitate milling, the new interface-protection caps will automatically feature a pass-through hole. When possible, MillBox will try to retain the pass-through hole in the output sintering .stl.

To retain the pass-through hole, MillBox will pre-process the tooth mesh and add some closure mesh before remeshing. Please note that for this function to work properly, every interface must have a valid protection cap.

As MillBox automatically tries to close the tooth mesh, the following configuration parameters are now ignored:

- Add interface to the mesh;

- Add interface to the mesh if confirmed;

- Add holes caps to the mesh;

- Add replaced connections to the mesh;

If MillBox is not sure that all holes are detected (for example there is a bridge with 3 elements and some holes are detected but may be more) MillBox will show a warning that can be closed with a checkbox for next imports. If MillBox is pretty sure that not holes are detected it will automatically uncheck this checkbox so the message will be shown. The checkbox can be set/unset on configuration.

(9) Engraving Text on support pins (New Feature)

It is now possible to write engraving text on support pins. Currently if text is added on a pin the tooth can be rotated only along the Z axis. To unlock rotation along other axes, the text must be removed first. Furthermore any pin with text on them cannot be moved and the shape cannot be modified.
