SUM3D is really easy and quick to learn and this is the characteristic that makes it possible to produce a mould after only a few hours of training, thanks to a very simple structure of commands.


The basic requirements to use the software are the same as those needed to work on CNC machines: the operator is "guided" in the choice of different machining options, from tool definition to toolpath creation.


To manage the shop floor, nowadays the mouldmaker needs the right tools that can be used quickly and easily by all personnel working with CNC and CAD/CAM systems.


Additionally, the CAM has the flexibility to be used beside the machine: straight on the CN, or on a dedicated working station next to the CNC.


In this way CNC operators become quickly autonomous in managing the toolpaths.
