When a blk is saved at the end of calculation, it is stored as default in his size folder (under material name) or under product name (optional). If MillBox found another folder with machine name the blank will be saved inside

Identification Code (used, for example, to assign a specific finishing to an object) and markers for pins are imported and managed. Those data are saved by Lab3dExplorer in a .xml file.

(49) Hybrid import information (Existing Feature Change)

If MillBox find that an Hybrid wasn't detected correctly it will show red caps and will inform the user. If MillBox is not sure that all holes are detected (for example there is a bridge with 3 elements and some holes are detected but may be more) MillBox will show a warning that can be closed with a checkbox for next imports. If MillBox is pretty sure that not holes are detected it will automatically uncheck this checkbox so the message will be shown. The checkbox can be set/unset on configuration.

(47) Pin orientation (New Feature)

Pins connected to stabilizers can be orientated up and down. Pin must be added to the tooth object (not to the stabilizers) and orientation is done by dragging external side up and down.

When the blk to update at the end of the toolpath is less used the the one on the archive a confirm is requested. Now the message box has changed confirm buttons with Yes/No (before was V and X)

(45) Material selection on strategy configuration (Existing Feature Change)

Previously options shown on list box, when selected a 'soft' or 'hard' material, expected that all materials under groud use the same. Since it is not so now it's possible to select a material under soft/hard to have options available for that specific material.

(44) Custom stabilizers (New Feature)

This function allow to use any STL as stabilizer. The STL will be imported from a library that can be organized in subfolder with the material name assigned.

(43) Replace on loading STL (Existing Feature Change)

In case the automatic replace function is used (soon after stl file import) now eventual abutment fit parameters (increase/decrease interface dimension and/or hole diameters) will also be considered.

(39) Warning for overwriting blk more used (New Feature)

If the user open an old project and recalculate it at the end MillBox will overwrite the blk file that may be more used then current project. Now MillBox detect the more use of saved blank and ask the user if he wants to continue or not.

(35) rotate 180 degrees on Z axis (New Feature)

To rotate 180 degrees on Z axis (useful on 4 axis machines when sometimes only this rotation can be done due to angle limits) the user can double click on arrow for Z axis rotation

(23) XYZ different scaling values for zirconia (Existing Feature Change)

Now this scale values is calculated correctly during calculation. XY values will be mediated and assigned to Z only on project, before calculating Z will be correctly rescaled. It is suggested to check the material residual simulation after calculation (on top and bottom side if the Z shrinking factor has big difference fromXY). Before (2017 version) the different scale factor was applied correctly only if object were not rotated.

(22) Attachments on models (New Feature)

Attachments if created on a model object (type 5) without a secondary axis will be created using the view direction, this allow to specify areas to be milled in 5 axis quickly, an update on the strategy is needed to take advantages from this function.

Premilled equipments with cross or Y orientation are managed. Premilled positions must be placed along X axis and can have different angle positions.

(18) Order reusable blank table (New Feature)

The reusable blank table can be automatically ordered by clicking the column lable. To apply 2 orders 2 labels must be clicked in correct order. For example if the user want blanks ordered by material, and inside he want an order by height he has to click first on height label, then to the material label. As before the user can change manually some row order by dragging first column. The order will be applied after MillBox restart.

(16) Fixture rendered with slight transparency when obstructing object views (New Feature)

If the Equipment is rotated between the user and one or more objects it will be rendered slightly more transparent to allow the user to remain focused on the parts during nesting while eliminating the obstructive view of the holder.

User can insert the shrinkage / enlargement factor with both syntax: 1.25 or 20, the value shown on the dialog (if edited) and on the bottom information toolbar are always represented with the syntax set in the configuration.

(11) Pin parameters on configuration dialog (Configuration)

It's possible to set all pin parameters (dimension, number, shape behavior) in the configuration dialog. It's possible to decide if a material define parameters on configuration or they are picked from the blank depending if "Edit" button is checked or not. If a material, for example Zirconia, has parameters defined in configuration dialog they will be hidden in the blank table.

(10) Scaling / Shrinkage factor in % - percentage (Existing Feature Change)

In MillBox's configuration it is now possible to change the scaling factor for zirconia from whole numbers to % (shrinkage factor), a scaling value of 1.25 corresponds to a shrinkage factor of 20%.

(9) Engraving Text on support pins (New Feature)

It is now possible to write engraving text on support pins. Currently if text is added on a pin the tooth can be rotated only along the Z axis. To unlock rotation along other axes, the text must be removed first. Furthermore any pin with text on them cannot be moved and the shape cannot be modified.

(8) Tooth information (New Feature)

The information icon is added to the tooth toolbar to see the file name and the number of elements contained.

(7) Rectangular Support Pins / Stabilizer (New Feature)

Users can change the shape of support pins to rectangular. There is a new icon used to select them on the pins toolbar and there is a configuration setting on blank dialog. If pins are placed near the equator curve the shape will contour to the curve to reduce the chance of creating undercuts.

(6) Count elements on object (New Feature)

It is possible to insert number of elements contained in an object on the report at the position @1305@/x@. To know number of elements of an object select it, press alt+enter then type "info"

(4) Vertical pin diameter (Configuration)

Vertical pin diameter set on tooth toolbar is saved for next pin creation (previously it was assigned the default value for horizontal pin)

(3) Align objects to Z axis (New Feature)

Align the object selected (crown, abutment, hybrid abutment) to Z axis so it can be milled vertically and with 4 axis machines. Useful for objects where the axis is calculated manually. If the object has 2 axis clicking the function twice the other axis will be used to align.

(2) Change step on wizard (Configuration)

User can change step even if it is inside another step parameters dialog. This configuration must be checked on settings, furthermore on some dialogs with substeps it is not available (while selecting blank on stl that require it, selecting, selecting used blanks..)

(1) Detection flipped objects (New Feature)

If an object with margin lines (crowns, bridges, anatomic crowns…) is detected flipped 180 degrees it will be automatically rotated and a message will be shown to inform the user on the function done
